DeepX, an artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor fabless company, will launch its own neural network processing unit (NPU) chip in the second half of next year.

The company plans to simultaneously target various industries from edge to server with four solutions based on AI computational processing power. 

This MPW will be conducted through Samsung Foundry, and Genesis M- and H will utilize the 5nm process, the most advanced process.

DeepX has selected GAONCHIPS, an official Design Solution Partner (DSP) of Samsung Foundry, as its design house.

GAONCHIPS has been primarily responsible for processing semiconductors for autonomous vehicles and AI semiconductors.
