2021 System Semiconductor Partners Day "Building Metabus Fabless Ecosystem Platform"
2021 System Semiconductor Partners Day Metabus Platform Seoul National University's System Semiconductor Industry Promotion Center held a Metabus Fair on the 16th under the theme of "2021 System Semiconductor Partners Day-Fabless, Wings."
Many South Korean semiconductor fabless companies and partners participated in the fair. A total of 22 companies and businesses including Openedge Technology, Qualitas Semiconductor, Arm, Hanatec, AD Technology, GAONCHIPS, Semi-Five, QRT, SGS Korea, Nano Advanced Institute of Technology, Cadence, and Seahopsis have set up virtual booths by sector.
At the Metabus Fair, visitors can visit each corporate and agency booth, check corporate technology and product information, and watch various promotional videos. A person in charge of a company conducted real-time counseling and meetings at a virtual booth to provide a venue for communication with fabless companies.
Even after the event ends, Metabus environment will be moved to the website of Seoul National University's System Semiconductor Industry Promotion Center, establishing itself as a fabless ecosystem platform that supports regular business meetings.
"Through this event, we will be able to provide online business platforms between companies that are in partnership with fabless businesses and raise interest in fabless businesses," said Lee Hyuk-jae, head of Seoul National University's System Semiconductor Industry Promotion Center. "We will provide opportunities for employment and start-ups, which will serve as a venue for resolving manpower shortages faced by fabless businesses."
