With the growing demand for advanced functionalities and lower power consumption in the high-performance appliance market, the company plans to introduce its high-performance MCU product line, which will be the industry's first to utilize the 28nm process.
Both ABOV Semiconductor and Gaonchips have extensive experience with Samsung Foundry, and the collaboration with Gaonchips—who has the most experience with Samsung Foundry's DSP technology—is seen as a natural progression. This partnership aims to enhance their competitiveness in the AI-driven appliance market and lead the global market.
