Gaonchips, a leading semiconductor design company, has announced its participation in 'SNUG Korea 2024' as an official IP OEM partner of global EDA and IP leader Synopsys. This participation aims to strengthen its partnership with Synopsys and showcase high-performance semiconductor design technologies, including those for AI/HPC and automotive applications, while expanding networking opportunities with booth visitors.

Gaonchips has officially joined the Synopsys IP OEM Partners program this year. This program is designed to provide customers with more robust and efficient solutions by leveraging Synopsys' EDA technologies and intellectual property (IP). Currently, the program includes 12 global design houses, including Taiwan's GUC and Alchip.

In response to the exponentially increasing complexity and difficulty in designing AI and HPC semiconductors, Gaonchips will use Synopsys' extensive IP portfolio to minimize design risks and reduce development time, thereby offering differentiated solutions to its customers. Additionally, by proactively researching the latest IP technologies, Gaonchips plans to deliver competitive IP solutions to its customers.
