GAONCHIPS (CEO Jung Kyu-dong) is a company specializing in developing semiconductors on demand (ASIC) and SoC established in 2012. Like 'Gaon's meaning, which means "the center of the world," it aims to be the center of the semiconductor industry with creative design and technology. 

GAONCHIPS provides total solutions from planning, design, design, production, package (PKG), test, quality assurance (QA), and final mass production supply.

GAONCHIPS' competitiveness is the composition of more than 100 domestic engineers with abundant experience and skilled skills throughout the entire semiconductor process, including fleet process technology.

The company plans to expand its professional and technical manpower to 300 by 2023 by recruiting more than 10% of manpower and fostering talent every year.

From March to May this year, he participated in piloting the "SAFE-Cloud Design Platform (CDP)" built by Samsung Electronics and HPC platform company Resale to design semiconductor chips for vehicles. It has achieved a result of reducing the design period by about 30% compared to the previous one.

In June, it was selected as an "ARM Approved Design Partner." Intellectual property rights (IP) were strengthened and business competitiveness was increased at the same time.

GAONCHIPS has also established partnerships with major domestic semiconductor fabless companies such as Telechips, Nextchip, Anapass, Eyenix, and MIT.

As a total design solution company, GAONCHIPS plans to support the timely release of its customers' products.

We plan to mass-produce developed products from customers who have completed various inspection and certification procedures from the fourth quarter of this year, a GAONCHIPS official said. "We will more than double expected performance sales next year and significantly improve operating profit."
